See your public IPv4 and IPv6 address instantly, copy either one with a single click, and check the approximate location, ISP, network and timezone behind that IP.
Paste any public IPv4 or IPv6 address to check its location, ISP and network owner.
A public IP address is the address your internet provider assigns to your connection. Every website, mail server and API you contact sees this address, which is how replies find their way back to you. Devices inside your home or office use private addresses (like 192.168.x.x) that are translated to your single public IP on the way out.
It means your connection or network is IPv4 only, or IPv6 is disabled on your router or device. Many Indian broadband and mobile networks now support IPv6, but corporate networks, VPNs and older routers often disable it. That is not a problem — IPv4 still works everywhere.
IP geolocation maps an address to the ISP block that owns it, so results usually land on your city or the nearest network hub. Mobile data, VPNs, proxies and corporate networks can place you in a completely different city or country. Use it as an approximation, never as a precise location.
Most home and mobile connections get a dynamic IP that changes when the router reconnects or after a lease renewal. Static IPs stay fixed and are usually paid add-ons. If you run a server, mail service or need to whitelist your office in a firewall, a static IP is worth asking your provider for.
A VPN or proxy replaces your visible IP with the server's IP. Note that this also changes what this tool reports — reload the page after connecting or disconnecting a VPN to see the difference.
No. Your hosting account has its own IP on our network, while this page shows the address of the connection you are browsing from. To find your hosting IP, check your cPanel account details or ask our support team.
