How to Open Emails in Roundcube Webmail – Step-by-Step Guide

Roundcube is a user-friendly webmail client provided by cPanel for accessing emails. Below is a detailed step-by-step guide on how to open and manage emails in Roundcube.

Step 1: Access Webmail

There are two ways to access Roundcube Webmail.

Method 1: Directly via Webmail URL

1. Open your web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.).

2. Go to your Webmail login URL:

   https://yourdomain.com/webmail
   

   OR

   https://yourdomain.com:2096
   

   (Use HTTPS for a secure connection.)

3. Enter your Email Address and Password.

4. Click Log in.

Method 2: Through cPanel

1. Log in to cPanel at:

   https://yourdomain.com/cpanel
   

2. Scroll down to the Email section and click on Email Accounts.
3. Find your email account and click Check Email.
4. You will be redirected to the Webmail selection page.

Step 2: Select Roundcube Webmail

1. On the Webmail selection screen, you may see Roundcube, Horde, and RainLoop.
2. Click Roundcube (Recommended for a modern and user-friendly interface).
3. To make Roundcube your default webmail, click Set as Default.

Step 3: Open and Read Emails

1. After logging in, you will see the Roundcube Dashboard.
2. Your emails are displayed in the Inbox.
3. Click on any email subject to open and read the email.

Step 4: Compose and Send Emails

1. Click Compose (top left corner).
2. Enter the recipient's email in the To field.
3. Add a subject in the Subject field.
4. Type your message in the editor.
5. Click Send.

Step 5: Manage Emails (Reply, Forward, Delete)

• Reply: Open an email ? Click Reply ? Type a response ? Click Send.
• Forward: Open an email ? Click Forward ? Enter recipient ? Click Send.
• Delete: Select the email ? Click Delete (Trash icon).

Step 6: Organize Emails with Folders

1. Click Settings (top-right corner).
2. Navigate to Folders ? Click Create New Folder.
3. Name the folder and click Save.
4. You can now move emails to folders by dragging them.

Step 7: Log Out Safely

1. Click on your profile (top right).
2. Select Log out.
